These terms apply to the Miss Exclusives website, contestant applications, programme participation, ticket purchases, paid voting and donations.
TICKET REFUND POLICY
All tickets purchased for the Miss Gauteng Exclusive Grand Finale Royal Crowning 2026 are subject to a strict no-refund and no-reimbursement policy.
No refunds or reimbursements will be issued for tickets cancelled, returned, or no longer required after 1 August 2026.
By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder acknowledges and accepts this policy. Tickets are considered a confirmed commitment to attend the event, and ticket sales contribute towards the costs associated with the production, venue, staffing, entertainment, security, décor and overall delivery of the Grand Finale.
All ticket sales are final after 1 August 2026.
PROGRAMME COMMITMENT & WITHDRAWAL POLICY
By entering Miss Gauteng Exclusive and accepting your sash at the official Sash Ceremony, each finalist confirms her commitment to participate in and complete the full Miss Gauteng Exclusive programme, including all workshops, masterclasses, developmental activities, appearances, community initiatives, rehearsals and the Grand Finale.
Miss Gauteng Exclusive is not simply a competition. It is a Transformational Leadership Programme designed to invest in the personal, professional and leadership development of each finalist. Throughout the programme, the organisation commits significant time, resources, mentorship, training, administration and financial investment towards the growth and development of each participant.
WITHDRAWAL AFTER THE DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMME
Once a finalist has participated in the full workshop and developmental period, she acknowledges that substantial resources have already been committed to her development.
Should a finalist voluntarily withdraw, resign, or otherwise choose not to complete the Miss Gauteng Exclusive programme after the completion of the full developmental period, no refunds, reimbursement or financial compensation will be provided for any fees, tickets bought or already paid and or sponsors brought in by way of task completions
This is because the organisation will have already incurred costs relating to the finalist’s training, workshops, mentorship, resources, administration, programme preparation and other developmental opportunities, and these costs cannot be recovered or reversed when a participant withdraws.
DEVELOPMENTAL INVESTMENT REPAYMENT
If a contestant further withdraws after less than a month away from the finale, the substantial investment into her Transformational Leadership Programme, the organisation reserves the right to require the finalist to reimburse the organisation a min amount of R5,000 towards the costs incurred in her development.
The R5,000 represents a contribution towards the time, resources, training, mentorship, administration and financial investment made by Miss Gauteng Exclusive in preparing and developing the finalist throughout the programme.
By accepting the sash and participating in the programme, the finalist confirms that she has commited to and, understood and accepted this commitment and acknowledges that accepting a place in Miss Gauteng Exclusive carries a responsibility to honour the full programme journey.
ADDITIONAL WEBSITE & COMPETITION TERMS
Applicants must meet the published entry requirements, provide accurate information and comply with the contestant agreement accepted when entering. Entry does not guarantee selection. Finalists and winners must fulfil their agreed programme and titleholder responsibilities.
Judging decisions are final for competition purposes, without limiting legal rights. Paid votes are subject to the published voting rules and do not guarantee a contestant’s selection or win.
Prices and purchase options are displayed before payment. Please check your selection and report incorrect or duplicate charges to info@missexclusives.com. Donations support the organisation’s programmes and do not purchase competition results.
If an event is cancelled or postponed by the organiser, ticket holders will be informed of available options and any refunds required by law.
South African law applies. All policies above are subject to applicable statutory rights. Nothing on this page excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including cancellation and refund rights under applicable consumer legislation.
PRIVACY POLICY
Miss Gauteng Exclusive Foundation processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information collected and used: We collect information supplied through applications, enquiries, accounts and purchases. This may include identity and contact details, addresses, education and employment information, social media details, photographs, videos and transaction records. We use this information to assess applications, administer the programme, process transactions, communicate with you and fulfil legal obligations. Required information is identified when collected; without it, we may be unable to process your application or request.
Contestant publicity: Contestant names, profiles, photographs and recordings may be used for voting, programme coverage and promotion as explained in the contestant media agreement. Identity numbers and private contact details are not intended for publication.
Sharing, security and retention: We share information only as necessary with authorised staff, programme assessors and service providers supporting website hosting, payments, communications and programme delivery, or where required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect information and retain it only for as long as necessary for its purpose or legal requirements. Any overseas processing must comply with POPIA’s transfer requirements.
Cookies and marketing: The website may use cookies for essential functions such as accounts and checkout. Any additional tracking purposes will be explained through the website’s cookie information and controls. Electronic marketing will be sent only where legally permitted, and you may unsubscribe.
Your rights: Subject to legal limitations, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
